THE UNIFORMED SERVICE ACADEMIES’ 2005  HOLIDAY BALL

The Annual Holiday Ball is one of the Highlights of the year for many North Texas Academy Families.  This Event cannot happen without your help.  We would ask all of you to please help in these 4 ways:

ATTEND  This is the easy one … please come on Thursday night, December 22 at the Hyatt Regency (at Terminal C) in DFW Airport.  There will be fun, food, recognition of the achievements of the Cadets/Midshipmen from all 5 Service Academies, and music & dancing for all!  Bring your whole Family.  Tickets available through your Parent’s Club

VOLUNTEER  Please help us throw this gala Welcome Home Party for your sons and daughters.  There are many opportunities to help us with your time and special talents.  A committee of parents from all Five Service Academies is working hard and we would love to have your help.  Upcoming meetings will be at the Hyatt Regency on 12/11, and a major workday on 12/17.  Please join us at the meeting rooms on the lower floor if you can help!

DONATIONS & GIFTS  One of the favorite parts of the night for the Cadets/ Midshipmen is when they receive their Holiday “Goodie Bag”.  This is a bag full of gift certificates, prizes, prepackaged food and goodies, CDs, DVDs, and anything else you can donate or find businesses to donate.  We would love to have anything that would help brighten the Holidays of your sons & daughters!  There will be approximately 150 in attendance, but we will use any quantities you can give us,  We also draw winners for autographed sports memorabilia, computer memory sticks, MP3 players, and anything else you can help us get donated … please let your Parent’s Club representative know how you can help here!

CORPORATE CONTACTS  The engine that drives this wonderful evening is Corporate donations and funding.  We are a 501(c)3 organization, meaning that donations are tax-deductible for individuals and corporations.  Please let your Parent’s Club representative know if you own a company that would like to donate or work for a company that would be willing to help this wonderful cause.  Remember that this is the last Holiday Season that many of the Firsties will be spending at home for several years and we want to make it as memorable as possible.

Thank You!  We look forward to seeing all of you on December 22!
